Humans are among the most widespread and diverse peoples of Thornpath. From sprawling kingdoms and quiet farming villages to distant ports and frontier settlements, they have made homes wherever opportunity carries them. Lacking the innate advantages of many other races, Humans instead thrive through adaptability, ambition, and an extraordinary capacity to learn.

Appearance
Humans display perhaps the greatest physical diversity of any people in Thornpath. Their features, builds, complexions, hair, clothing, and customs vary dramatically from one region to another, reflecting generations shaped by vastly different climates and cultures. A Human knight raised beneath the towers of a great kingdom may bear little resemblance to a rugged hunter of the frontier or a sailor raised along the coast. There is no single Human appearance—and perhaps that is precisely the point.
