Feline Ferals are a diverse people whose bloodlines carry the traits of Thornpath’s great cats—from powerful lions and tigers to swift leopards, lynx, and smaller wildcats. Their cultures are as varied as their forms, shaped over generations by the lands their clans call home.

Some build settlements among ancient forests and forgotten ruins. Others roam open grasslands beneath enormous skies, inhabit warm river kingdoms, or make their homes among frozen mountain passes. Though their customs differ greatly, most Feline Ferals share exceptional agility, heightened senses, fierce independence, and an instinctive awareness of the world around them.

They are not simply warriors. Hunters, scouts, mystics, merchants, artisans and wandering clans can all be found among their people—and few races in Thornpath have adapted so successfully to such radically different environments.

Appearance

Feline Ferals blend a humanoid frame with the unmistakable traits of the great cats and wild felines from which their bloodlines descend. Their bodies are covered in fur ranging from sleek and short to thick and heavy, marked by stripes, spots, rosettes, solid coats, and countless variations unique to individual lineages.

Their feline features are fully pronounced—muzzled faces, mobile ears, long tails, padded hands and feet, sharp claws, luminous eyes, and powerful senses. Builds vary dramatically between bloodlines. Lion and tiger Ferals often possess broad, heavily muscled frames, while leopard, lynx, and smaller feline lineages tend toward lighter builds designed for speed, balance, and explosive movement.

Hair, manes, braids, beads, jewelry, tattoos, piercings, and clan markings are common forms of personal expression, often revealing where a Feral comes from long before they ever speak. Though their appearances vary wildly across Thornpath, every Feline Feral carries something unmistakably predatory in the way they move—quiet, deliberate, and always aware.
